Dan oversees the management of over 1,300 funds representing more than $240 million in assets under management. Specializing in estate planning and planned giving, Dan has worked with numerous donors to help them achieve their philanthropic goals. During his 15-year tenure, Dan has worked with a team that has nearly tripled the Foundation’s assets under management. Dan serves on the board of several private foundations and supporting organizations.
Prior to joining the Jewish Community Foundation, Dan practiced law at Fox Rothschild, LLP and at Klett, Lieber & Schorling, P.C. Prior to practicing law, he also worked in financial management and planning for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Bear Stearns & Co., Inc., both in New York. Dan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh Law School, his Master of Laws in Taxation from Villanova University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Colby College.
