Director of Planned Giving & Associate Foundation Director
Sharon has impacted the lives of hundreds of donors and families annually over her 12-year tenure at the Foundation. Her areas of expertise include structuring planned giving strategies for major gifts and drafting complex endowment agreements. During this time, Sharon managed the Centennial Fund for a Jewish Future, a $25 million endowment campaign benefitting Jewish engagement and education. Working with a donor, she helped to found and secure matching funds for a teen philanthropy program, winning the Association for Fundraising Professionals Outstanding Philanthropic Innovation award in 2008.
For more than three decades, Sharon has specialized in estate planning and real estate law. Prior to joining the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, Sharon was President of Keystone Closing Services, a real estate settlement company. She was also an attorney for 8 years at Wittlin, Goldston & Caputo, PC and began her career at Rothman Gordon, PC. Sharon earned her Juris Doctor from University of Pittsburgh Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
